To get Blogger back to normal, all posts since 7:37am PDT on Weds, 5/11 have been temporarily removed. Blogger is in read-only mode for now. We expect everything to be back to normal soon. 

We've temporarily disabled the Add Location feature in the new post editor after discovering some technical issues which we need to fix. It should be back soon, and in the meantime you can still add geo information to your posts from draft.blogger.com.

We're aware of the issue preventing the post editor from loading for some users. Our team is investigating this right now and we hope to have this sorted out as soon as possible.

We've reproduced an issue which is affecting paragraph spacing when composing from the Old Post Editor on IE. We're working to sort out the underlying issue, but in the meantime we recommend updating to the New Editor from the Settings | Basic tab.

Some users have reported that images are not displaying on their blog when uploading or editing from the new post editor in IE6 or IE7. We're investigating right now and will follow-up with more info as we have it.

Update: 3:45PM There are two fairly reliable workarounds to this issue which have been reported by users:

1. Upload and/or edit photos from IE8+, Firefox, Chrome, or Safari. The issue seems to only affect IE6/7
2. You Publish Postcan make already-uploaded images display by manually editing the image code from the Edit HTML tab. Just remove the height="0" and width="0" elements and the images should appear.

Update: 11:55PM This is fixed for new uploads. Please see the second workaround above to correct previously-uploaded images.

We're aware of the issue preventing users from adding multiple images to their blog at once after uploading; we have a fix in the works and it should be released shortly.

We're getting reports that the Share to Facebook feature isn't working as of this morning. We're investigating the problem and will report back with more information once we have it.

The All blog updates view in the Reading List is displaying incomplete data for some users. We've identified the source of this problem and will have a fix out shortly which will restore all of the Reading List content.

Some users have reported issues with our expanding widgets in HTML Editor and previewing in Template Designer. We are investigating and will report back once we have more information. 

Some users have reported that header images have degraded in quality after uploading. We're investigating this and will report back as soon as we have more information to share.

Update, 1/25: This issue has been fixed. Your previously-uploaded header images should now display clearly.

We've identified a bug that prevents the new editor from loading, instead displaying a spinning circle. The underlying cause of the problem has been identified, and we are deploying a fix now. As a temporary workaround, you can still post using the old post editor (the preference can be changed under the Settings | Basic tab).

Update 1/6: The underlying issue has now been resolved and the new editor should be working again.

We've identified a bug this morning which may temporarily delay the spam restoration process. If your blog or account was marked as spam recently, you may experience this delay.

Update, 12/13: We've resolved the underlying issue and the affected blogs have been restored to your dashboard. If you were publishing on a custom domain, you'll have to re-enter your domain information from the Settings | Publishing tab. Please note that after you save your custom domain publishing settings, it may take up to one hour for the blog to re-appear on the domain.

Some users are having trouble viewing Stats data for their blog, usually accompanied by a message saying "an error occurred while fetching stats."

Uploaded videos are not currently playing in Google Chrome for some users. We're looking into the issue and will report back as soon as we have more information to share.

Currently if your blog language setting is set to one of the Indic languages (Bengali, Malay, etc) then Adding a Gadget will return an error. As a workaround, you can temporarily change the blog language to a non-Indic language, add the gadget, and then revert to your original language setting.

The Upload function in the new post editor is currently not working for a small subset of users. We're looking into this and will post and update as soon as we have more information to share.

In the meantime you may revert to the old post editor if you need to upload images. Thanks for your patience.

Some users have reported not being able to add members to their blog despite having < 100 current members. This is because our invite limit currently includes all invitations, including those expired, deleted, outstanding, or otherwise used in the past.

Compose Mode is currently unavailable when editing static Pages on Blogger in Draft. We're working on a fix and hope to have it released shortly.

Unable to upload images via Blogger in Draft

Some users are experiencing errors when uploading images to Blogger in Draft (draft.blogger.com). We are working on the fix. Meanwhile, you can still upload images to your posts via www.blogger.com

If you've recently added a third party gadget to your blog and are now seeing unwanted redirects to other sites when loading your blog, we recommend removing these gadget from your layout.

Also, if you have recently switched hosting from BlogSpot to a custom domain, it may take up to a few hours before the counts are synced completely (and this is expected).
